Raj Shah M.D.

Raj Shah MD MBA is a Clinical Cardiologist at CarePoint Health System, serving since July 2023, and holds the position of Chairman of the Health Council and Board of Directors at WHEELS Global Foundation since October 2019. As the Founder, President, and CEO of SmartCareDoc since August 2009, Raj Shah created a comprehensive telemedicine platform informed by over 40 years of clinical cardiology practice. Additional roles include Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine and Adjunct Associate Professor at Temple University, where Raj Shah developed a diabetic retinopathy screening program. Raj Shah serves as a Research Fellow at Rutgers University and an Advisory Board Member at Kean University, along with clinical teaching positions at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Previous experience includes founding HeartCare Associates, a cardiology and internal medicine group based in Pennsylvania. Raj Shah earned an MD in Medicine from The Medical College, Baroda, India, between 1964 and 1969.
