Sol Orive

Sol Orive is an experienced engineering manager currently leading the marketplace team at Wheel the World since October 2022. With a track record of roles at Mercado Libre from 2016 to 2022, Sol has held positions ranging from Software Development Project Leader to Senior Software Development Engineer, contributing significantly to the growth of Mercado Pago through experimentation and merchant acquisition. Prior experience includes roles at Avantrip.com and Iquall Networks, focusing on Java development, as well as early positions at OLX and TeraCode in software development and quality assurance. Sol holds a degree in Ingeniería en Informática from the University of Buenos Aires, with expected completion in 2024.
