Rev. Don Odom

Rev. Don Odom, Jr. is the Founder and Managing Director of Primary Purpose, Inc., established in January 2023 to support Christians recovering from addiction and their families, while also partnering with churches to create Bible-integrated support groups. Serving as the Social Justice Ministry Leader and Recovery Ministry Leader at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church since September 2020, Rev. Odom focuses on promoting a Christian-based approach to Twelve Step recovery and addressing the stigma surrounding addiction within faith communities. With prior experience as a Franchise Owner and Director of Merchandise for The Athlete's Foot from 2002 to 2009, managing multiple retail locations, Rev. Odom is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership at Hampton University, complementing a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the same institution.
