Christine Geraci has been a Controller at Wheeler Clinic since July 2020. Prior to that, they served as Chief Financial Officer at Root Center for Advanced Recovery from July 2018 to July 2020. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the credibility of the Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts. Christine also evaluated and advised on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and provided senior management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
From July 2018 to July 2020, Christine Geraci was also responsible for managing the process for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting, as well as providing recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. Christine established and maintained strong relationships with senior leaders in order to identify their needs and seek full range of organizational solutions. Additionally, they prepared annual budgets including financial performance, projections and other special projects, and prepared financial reports for grant applications in collaboration with management staff.
In their role as Chief Financial Officer at Root Center for Advanced Recovery, Christine Geraci also oversaw accounting systems to track and allocate expenditures to specific cost centers. Christine prepared short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties, and worked closely with the Senior Management team to fulfill fiscal, internal and external reporting requirements. Additionally, they oversaw payroll with outside payroll services, reviewed quarterly payroll, payroll tax reports and annual 1099 forms, and oversaw employee payroll, time off accrual, the 403b retirement plan, medical benefits and other employee benefits. Lastly, they served as a liaison with insurance brokers and applicable reporting for workers compensation liability and medical malpractice policies.
Since becoming Controller at Wheeler Clinic in July 2020, Christine Geraci has continued to oversee accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, and cash flow management. Christine monitors and oversees monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations, as well as monitors the effective purchasing, payment of invoices, and expense reporting for all ten clinics. Additionally, they manage fiscal audits and renewals, establishes contract and renewals with insurance broker and carriers, and oversees all facilities.
Christine Geraci has a Master's in Business Administration from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the same school.
