Ruth Clark, LMSW, is an experienced professional in early childhood mental health and communications, currently serving as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant at Wheeler Health since August 2023. Previously, Ruth held positions as News Editor and News Writer at Static Media, and completed clinical social work and social work internships at Wheeler Clinic and Hartford Public Schools, respectively. Ruth's extensive background in communications includes developing strategies for nonprofit clients, managing social media engagement, and fulfilling key roles in COVID-19 testing and vaccination initiatives at CIC Health. Ruth's teaching experience spans ESL instruction and substitute teaching across various grades, complementing a solid educational foundation with a Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's degree in English from the same institution. Additionally, Ruth has gained international experience by studying human rights at the University of Cape Town.
