Doug Lafave

Doug LaFave has had extensive work experience in the credit union industry. Doug started their career at San Diego County Credit Union as a Loan Interviewer in 1986 and worked there until 1989. Doug then joined Symitar as a Client Services Manager from 1992 to 1997. Following this, they worked at SELCO Community Credit Union as a Senior Programmer Analyst from 1998 to 2000. Doug then moved to San Diego County Credit Union again, this time as a Senior VP of Programming from 2000 to 2011. Next, they worked at Mission Federal Credit Union as VP - Core Processing from 2011 to 2018, and later as 1st VP of IT Strategy from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they serve as the VP of IT at Wheelhouse Credit Union from March 2022.

Doug LaFave attended Michigan State University from 1982 to 1986. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
