Matthew Berg

Matthew Berg began their professional career in 2006 as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan. In 2007, they moved to Centerline Capital Group as an Assistant Vice President. In 2009, they began their studies at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, graduating in 2012. Matthew then joined Duval & Stachenfeld LLP as an Associate in the Real Estate Group. In 2011, they held internships at Vornado Realty Trust and Centerline Capital Group. In 2014, they joined Dechert LLP as an Associate. In 2017, they moved to Impact Community Capital LLC as Senior Vice President & Registered In-House Counsel (CA). In 2019, they joined Lyric as Vice President - Legal, Partnerships & Head of People. In 2020, they moved to Wheelhouse as Head of People, Operations and Partnerships and Vice President-Legal, Partnerships & Head of People.

Matthew Berg has a Doctor of Law (JD) from Cardozo School of Law, which they obtained in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics and Matthew'story from Duke University in 2006. Matthew's educational journey began at Millburn High School, which they attended from 1998 to 2002. Berg has also obtained three additional certifications, including a License to Practice Law in California from the State Bar of California in 2021, a License to Practice Law in New York from the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department in 2013, and a License to Practice Law in New Jersey from the Supreme Court of New Jersey in 2012.
