Gavin Shepherdson

Gavin Shepherdson began their work experience in 2006 as a Naval Architect at NQEA, where they worked until 2011. In 2011, they joined Whelen Engineering as a Mechanical Engineer and worked their way up to become the Mechanical Engineering Supervisor in 2015, then the Mechanical Engineering Manager in 2016. Currently, Gavin serves as the Director of Mechanical Engineering at Whelen Engineering, a position they have held since October 2019.

Gavin Shepherdson has an extensive educational background in the field of engineering. Gavin received a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture from the Australian Maritime College and the University of Tasmania, completing their studies from 2001 to 2005. In 2020, Gavin began pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Hartford, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications related to sustainability, sheet metal, and general proficiency in the software offered by Dassault Systèmes.
