Pete James

Pete James serves as a Manufacturing Engineer at Whelen Engineering since October 2016, leveraging over three decades of experience in the electronics industry. Key areas of expertise include printed circuit board design for manufacturability, assembly processes, material supply chain management, inventory control, machinery optimization, and product quality testing. Additionally, since 2002, Pete has contributed as a keyboardist and vocalist for Rock and Soul Revue, a premier dance band in southern New England. Previously, from August 1982 to August 2015, Pete held the position of Manager of Technical Coordination and Integration at IPC Systems, Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing test, reliability, and quality engineering, as well as regulatory compliance and new product integration into manufacturing. Pete is an alumnus of the University of Connecticut.
