Francisco Puente

Francisco Puente is a seasoned professional with a decade of experience in the field of business. Francisco began their career in 2010 as a Project Manager Assistant at Grupo Garza Ponce. In 2011, they took on a role as a Development Analyst at Orange Investments, and then moved to MIRA Companies, an affiliate of the Black Creek Group, where they held the roles of Development Analyst, Senior Development Analyst, and Real Estate Investments Senior Manager from 2012 to 2017. In 2018, they were selected as a Legatum Fellow at the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship at MIT, where they were part of a cohort of 20-25 MIT students committed to building and scaling ventures in the developing world. From 2017 to 2019, they were Co-founder and COO of Bienvendido, and then Co-founder and COO of Viya in 2019. Most recently, they have been Co-Founder and Customer Success at wherEX since 2021.

Francisco Puente has a diverse educational background. In 2020, they participated in Y Combinator's Viya (W20) program. From 2017 to 2019, they earned a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management. From 2007 to 2011, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2010 and 2011, they also studied Civil Engineering at University of Colorado Boulder. In 2011, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Summer Institute for General Management. Additionally, from 2008 to 2011, they studied Corporate Ethics at Valia.
