Loreto Chesta Alegría has worked in a variety of industries since 2010. Loreto began their career at Magallanes Insurance as a Management Control Analyst, where they were responsible for the execution of monthly cost and service level indicators and reduced the theft rate by 87%. Loreto then moved into a Project Manager role, where they managed and designed technological innovations, led and trained multidisciplinary teams in Chile and Peru to improve customer satisfaction processes and controls, and monitored initiatives to reduce costs and improve service level agreements (SLAs). In 2016, they were an MBA Intern at Bupa, and in 2017 they worked as a Project Manager at Porvenir Insurance. In this role, they managed the implementation of operational and commercial improvements, designed and implemented a vehicle insurance quote system, and reported directly to the CEO. In 2018, they were Head of Operations at Kokomo.cl, a Chilean start-up and first Full Commerce in Latin America dedicated to helping companies implement subscription sales models. In this role, they were responsible for sales, customer contact, and ensuring quality service, as well as managing the CEO's operational and commercial tasks, leading a team of 4 people, and attracting new business. Finally, in 2019, Loreto Chesta Alegría began working at wherEX as Head of Customer Operations, then Operation Senior Manager, and finally Operations Manager. In this role, they led a team of 15 from Customer Operations, Supplier Management, Customer Service and Operations Management areas, as well as other business units. Loreto developed and worked together with multidisciplinary teams in the creation of new products and associated KPIs, such as definition of SLA, workload, efficiency in tender management, NPS, among others. Loreto also optimized tender management by 30%, increased the number of offers per product by 40%, and increased customer enrollment by 180%, by directing projects to improve processes such as restructuring the team and generating emailing campaigns.

Loreto Chesta Alegría attended Alliance Manchester Business School from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Full Time MBA Class 2017. From 2003 to 2008, they attended Universidad de los Andes (CL) and earned an Industrial Civil Engineering degree in Engineering. In 2018, they obtained a Diploma in Digital Marketing and Ecommerce from Universidad de Chile.
