Bob Meijer

Bob Meijer has over 30 years of work experience in the energy industry. Bob started their career in 1990 with IT and Telecom, where they held various technical and commercial (management) roles. In 2007, they joined Econcern as a Wind Energy - Business & Project Development. From 2010 to 2011, they were the Unit Manager Wind Energy at Ecofys, and then moved on to Royal HaskoningDHV as a Project Director - Offshore Wind Energy. In 2014, they joined ENGIE Energie Nederland NV as the Development Manager Offshore Wind, and in 2017 they became the Chairman Offshore Wind Committee NWEA. Bob is currently the Commercial Director at Whiffle since 2016.

Bob Meijer obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Physics from Delft University of Technology between 1985 and 1990. In 1996, they completed an International Marketing Programme at INSEAD. Between 2012 and 2015, they obtained a Propedeuse in Dutch Law from Open Universiteit. In 2020, they completed the Mathematics for Machine Learning Specialization from Coursera. Additionally, they have an edX Honor Code Certificate for ContractsX 2016.
