Tadashi Imokawa

Tadashi Imokawa is a Senior Software Engineer at WHILL since February 2022, focused on autonomous driving system development. Previously, Tadashi served as a Robotics Engineer at ソフトバンク from February 2018 to February 2022, where responsibilities included software development for autonomous robots using ROS, Python, and C++, encompassing Visual/Lidar SLAM, navigation control, and sensor data communication with AWS. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Engineer at Renesas Electronics Corporation, where Tadashi worked on vital signal analysis, embedded software development, and GUI software for real-time graphical data display. Tadashi began a career at Advantest, contributing to healthcare sensor wireless systems from April 2007 to January 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology from The University of Electro-Communications and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the Japan-America Institute of Management Science.
