Alessio Beato

Alessio Beato is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in power electronics and motor control, currently serving as Principal Engineer & Sr. Manager at Whirlpool Corporation since April 2016. Leading the Motor Control Team, Alessio manages a diverse group of engineers across Italy and the US, focusing on delivering global motor control solutions for various appliances while overseeing continuous improvement and technology development. Previously, Alessio held several roles at Indesit Company from November 2006 to March 2016, including Power Electronics & Motor Control Manager, where responsibilities encompassed advanced motor control system design and collaboration with hardware teams. An early career internship at Infineon Technologies involved research on embedded processor platforms. Alessio holds a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering and a graduate degree in the same field from Università Politecnica delle Marche.
