Lauren Burt

Lauren Burt is currently an Industrial Engineering Intern at General Motors, where responsibilities include safety reviews and machinery implementation on the plant floor, along with AutoCAD measurement validation. Lauren is also the High School Outreach Chair for the Society of Women Engineers, organizing STEM events for students. As a member of the Engineers Without Borders USA Kenya Project Team, Lauren contributes to design solutions based on community needs. Previously, a Continuous Improvement Data Analyst at Radiology Associates, Lauren automated staffing models and developed a Tableau dashboard for appointment analysis. Early experience includes teaching coding and LEGO Engineering at Tech Know How Inc. and leading a process improvement analysis of Blaze Pizza during studies at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where Lauren is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
