Shawn Armstrong currently serves as a System Architect and Six Sigma Master Black Belt at KITCHENAID GLOBAL, INC. since May 2024, while also holding a long-standing position as Engineering Manager for Materials Technology at Whirlpool Corporation since July 2006. In this role, Shawn oversees advanced materials engineering and product development for KitchenAid small appliances and various initiatives. Previous positions at Whirlpool include Lead Engineer and Senior Materials Engineer, with extensive experience in failure analysis and materials analysis across multiple product categories. Additionally, Shawn is a Board Member of the Michigan Great Southwest Sustainable Business Forum since April 2013. Prior experience includes roles at Navistar Inc and Nucor Steel. Shawn is pursuing an MBA at Colorado State University (2024-2027) and holds a degree from Purdue University.
