Ryan McDonough

Ryan McDonough is a Design Engineer currently employed at Whirlwind Steel Buildings, Inc. since April 2023, with prior experience at American Buildings from June 2020 to March 2023 as both a Design Engineer and Associate Design Engineer. Ryan's engineering background includes an internship at Vulcraft - Division of Nucor Corp and an internship with the City of Cedar Rapids. Before transitioning into engineering roles, Ryan served as a Librarian at Lichtenberger Engineering Library and worked as a Tutor for Fluid Mechanics and Dynamics at the University of Iowa. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa, completed in 2020.
