Zachary Wood

Zachary Wood has diverse work experience in engineering and operations. Zachary is currently working as a Fire Operation Engineer at Whisker Labs since April 2022. Previously, they were involved with Go! Baby Go! in 2020, where they served as a Senior Capstone and worked on designing a collision avoidance system for a ride-in toy car with accommodations for children with disabilities. Additionally, they collaborated with a team to develop a bumper system and completed a prototype for a remote control kill switch. In 2019, Zachary had a self-employed contractor role at Gorman Rentals. Zachary also worked as an Engineering Intern at the Colorado Department of Transportation from June to August 2018.

Zachary Wood attended Colorado Mesa University from 2015 to 2018, where they pursued undergraduate studies and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Following that, from 2018 to 2020, they enrolled at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. During this time, they focused on Mechanical Engineering and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree.
