Andrea Bautista Gomez

Andrea Bautista Gomez currently serves as Responsable de las escuelas de Promotoria Para la Paz Kolem Ko'ntontik at MELEL XOJOBAL, A.C. since February 2023. Since August 2019, Andrea has been an Educadora Comunitaria at CH´IELTIK A.C IDEAS, facilitating workshops focused on gender, sexual and reproductive health, emotional management, and decision-making for Indigenous youth in Chiapas. Additionally, Andrea has held the position of Representante del grupo de mujeres at Mujeres Colawal since May 2015 and has contributed as Armonizadora de Chiapas for the Whitaker Peace & Development Initiative since January 2014. Andrea holds a Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Development from Universidad Intercultural de Chiapas, earned between 2013 and 2017.
