Carla Jones MCIPD has extensive work experience in HR, starting in 2007 at Hilton Worldwide as an HR Officer. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Sainsbury's in various HR roles, including HR Manager and Area HR Manager. In 2013, they became a Learning & Development Programme Manager, responsible for designing and implementing talent development programs. From 2014 to 2017, Carla served as a Regional HR Business Partner, leading the people strategy for a specific region. Carla then transitioned to the role of HR Business Partner for the Food Transformation program, providing HR advice and creating people plans. Lastly, in 2020, Carla joined Whitbread, where they initially served as the Head of HR for Restaurants and later transitioned to the position of Head of HR for Premier Inn & Restaurants.

Carla Jones MCIPD completed their education at Worcester College of Technology from 2008 to 2012, earning a CIPD level 7 degree in HR. Prior to that, they attended Nunnery Wood High School in Worcester from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the HDS test user certification from Hogrefe and the Kirkpatrick Bronze certification from Kirkpatrick Partners, LLC, both of which were obtained in 2014. Carla also holds a Level 2 qualification in psychometric testing from The British Psychological Society.
