Matthew Young

Matthew Young is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Associate Principal of Operations at White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD #624, since July 2018. In this role, Matthew manages daily building operations, focuses on relationship-building with students and families, supports staff development in various instructional areas, oversees student discipline, and coordinates multiple assessments. Prior to this, Matthew held positions including Dean of Students at Chippewa Middle School and 6-12 Engineering Specialist, Science Teacher, and Head Coach at ISD 832. Matthew’s educational background includes an Ed.S. in School Administration from Concordia University-St. Paul, a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of St. Thomas, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Bethel University.
