Sam Consolatti is a teacher at White Oak School. Prior to that, they worked as a contributing author for The Cool Cats from June 2017 to November 2020. They also worked as a substitute teacher for Longmeadow Public Schools from March 2017 to January 2018, where they taught physics to 11th graders and served as a librarian for K-5 students. From February 2017 to January 2018, Sam Consolatti worked as a long-term substitute teacher for Westfield Public Schools. There, they taught English to 9th graders, Spanish to 9-12th graders, and physical education to 9-12th graders, including Pathways alternative education program. Sam Consolatti has also taught English, art, history, and general education to students in grades K-8.
Sam Consolatti's educational career began at Agawam High School, where they studied general studies. Sam then went on to study English at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where they earned a bachelor's degree. Finally, they earned a Master of Education with a concentration in English grades 8-12 from American International College.
They are on a team with Melissa Rymasz Escalante - Secretary to the Head of School, Louise Saloio - Teacher, and Susan Callahan - Teacher. Sam Consolatti reports to Jody Michalski, Head of School.
