Vice Chair at White Plains Hospital

Ann Edwards is the Vice Chair at White Plains Hospital. Ann has over three years of experience as a certified phlebotomy technician. Prior to their current position, they worked at BioReference Laboratories from June 2016 to August 2019. In their previous role, they were responsible for greeting and assisting patients, collecting and labeling laboratory specimens, and verifying the completion of necessary paperwork and consents prior to procedures. Ann also ensured that the work environment was sterile and compliant with infection control standards. Throughout their career, Ann has demonstrated their dedication to providing quality patient care in a culturally-sensitive manner.

Ann Edwards has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education from Concordia College-New York and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Purchase College, SUNY. Ann is certified by the New York State Education Department as a Registered Nurse and by the American Heart Association as a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) provider and an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider. Ann also has certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association and is a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
