Fangyuan Ding

Fangyuan DING is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine, since July 2020. Prior to this role, Fangyuan DING was a Postdoctoral researcher in the Elowitz lab at the California Institute of Technology, focusing on bioengineering and synthetic biology from February 2012 to July 2020. Fangyuan DING also held the position of Faculty for the Future Fellow at Schlumberger from 2011 to 2013. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Physics from Ecole normale supérieure (2005-2012), an internship in Biophysics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2007), and a BA in Physics from Nanjing University (2002-2005), along with secondary education completed at Jinan Foreign Languages School (1996-2002).
