Tejaswi Velayudhan is an Assistant Professor of Public Finance at the University of California, Irvine, since July 2020, specializing in taxation and governance with a focus on emerging economies. Prior to this position, Tejaswi served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Ohio State University from August 2019 to July 2020 and was a Graduate Student Instructor and PhD Candidate at the University of Michigan from September 2013 to May 2019. Additional experience includes a consultancy role with the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and a research assistantship at the Center for Global Development. Tejaswi's academic foundation includes a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Wellesley College, complemented by studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
