Patrick Recasens I Morente

Patrick joined White Star Capital from Flo Live Limited, a venture capital-backed technology company based in London, active in the Internet of Things space, where he served as General Counsel from 2016 to 2019.

From 2011 to 2016, he served as Associate General Counsel of Millicom International Cellular S.A., a NASDAQ-listed telecoms operator, where he was intimately involved in transformative projects across the company’s footprint, and played a key role in managing relationships with local stakeholders and authorities, as well as in public offerings of debt and bank financings, and complex litigation management.

From 2005 to 2010, he was General Counsel and member of the executive committee of the international division of Hillrom Inc., a NYSE-listed leading provider of medical technologies for the healthcare industry. During this period, the company doubled its international revenues through organic and external growth initiatives.

He began his career in private practice in Canada and France from 1997 to 2003.

Patrick received his B.Sc. (1992) and his LL.B. (1996) from the University of Montreal (Canada), and his MBA from HEC Paris (2005). He is a member of the Bar of Quebec, and of the Canadian Bar Association. He is a Canadian and Spanish national and is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Catalan.
