Doug Kathol has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Doug began their career at Gel-Tec as a Sales Engineer from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, they joined Chesapeake Energy as an Operations Specialist, where they were responsible for sourcing water for Barnett Shale horizontal wells and investigating technologies for the reuse and recycling of produced oilfield brines. Doug later transitioned to the role of Asset Manager, overseeing the completions and operation of all Salt Water Disposal wells in the Northern Midcontinent Division. From 2016, Doug has been working as a Senior Operations Engineer at White Star Petroleum, LLC.
Doug Kathol attended the Colorado School of Mines from 1975 to 1980, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering.
