Neal Alexander has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Neal began their career at EnCana in 2003, where they worked as a Production Engineer until 2005. Neal then transitioned to the role of Reservoir Engineer, specializing in stacked tight sands and working on the Montney tight gas play. In this role, they utilized Petrel to create detailed geologic models and ran simulations to predict type curves and provide geologic models for reserve and flow purposes. In 2011, they joined Whitecap Resources as a Reservoir Engineer, and later became the Chief Reservoir Engineer in 2016. In this role, they were responsible for scoping and implementing enhanced oil recovery projects, designing hydraulic fracture treatments, and conducting detailed reservoir description duties.
Neal Alexander attended the University of Alberta from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering.
