Jessica Pereira

Jessica Pereira is an experienced health and safety professional with a strong background in occupational health and hygiene. Currently serving as the acting WHS Manager - QLD and Principal - Health & Hygiene at Whitehaven Coal since May 2015, Jessica focuses on enhancing workforce well-being and fostering a psychologically safe workplace through innovative programs. Prior experience includes roles at Anglo American as a Health Officer and Glencore Zinc as an Injury Prevention Advisor, where responsibilities encompassed injury management, risk assessment, and the coordination of health and wellness initiatives. Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from Griffith University and a Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety from Churchill Education.
