Nina Wilson, MAusIMM(CP), is an accomplished mining engineer with extensive experience in mine planning and operational management. Currently serving as the Lead Mine Planning at Whitehaven Coal since April 2024, Nina has previously held multiple senior engineering positions at BHP, contributing to strategic planning and coal quality management from October 2010 to April 2024. Nina's career also includes significant roles at Anglo American, where operational planning for various mining methods was developed, and earlier research experience at Delft University of Technology focusing on heavy metals in fly ash. Nina holds a Master of Science in Metallurgy and a Master of Business Technology from esteemed institutions, complemented by Bachelor's degrees in Minerals Process Engineering and Mining Engineering.
