Julien Cottineau has over 9 years of work experience in the field of genomics. Julien is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at WhiteLab Genomics since April 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Application Scientist at Genomic Vision from May 2016 to March 2019. Before that, they were a Research Scientist at The Rockefeller University from November 2015 to May 2016. Julien also gained research experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at Institut Imagine from September 2011 to November 2015. Julien started their career as a Research Assistant at the Research Center, Hopital Necker Enfants malades from August 2010 to September 2011.

Julien Cottineau pursued their education in the field of biology and genetics. Julien first attended Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2009 to 2010, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Genetics and Biology. Following this, they furthered their studies at the same university from 2011 to 2015, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Immunology.
