Dylan Gooneratne

Dylan Gooneratne is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in actuarial science and leadership roles within various organizations. Currently serving as a Professional Development Co-Chair and Executive Board Member at Phi Beta Lambda at Penn State University, Dylan has facilitated the professional growth of peers through workshops and initiatives while also participating in the Penn State Actuarial Science Club. Dylan's internship experience includes roles at The Cigna Group and Transamerica, focusing on actuarial analysis and pricing methodologies, as well as internships at Underwriting Management Experts and Whitemarsh Valley Country Club, which provided insights into the insurance industry and customer service. Dylan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, expected to graduate in May 2025.
