Leigh McMillan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various companies and roles. In 1995, they started their career as the Director of Public Affairs for the Seattle Mariners. Leigh then moved on to work at RealNetworks as the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing from 1996 to 2001, where they gained valuable experience in marketing. Following that, they joined WildTangent as the VP of Marketing from 2001 to 2003.

In 2003, Leigh McMillan transitioned to the political sphere, working as the National Finance Director for U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell until 2005. Leigh then joined Pure Networks as the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing and Premium Services before being acquired by Cisco in 2006.

From 2006 to 2011, Leigh McMillan held various roles at Marchex, including Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager of Call Analytics, and subsequently as SVP of Marketing and Communications. Leigh then moved to Avvo, where they served as the Chief Marketing Officer from 2011 to 2016 until it was acquired by Internet Brands.

In 2016, Leigh McMillan joined ReachNow as the Head of Marketing, and then in 2017, they assumed the position of General Manager of Consumer Business at Whitepages. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of CEO, showcasing their leadership abilities.

Finally, in 2020, Leigh McMillan became a Limited Partner at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2), where they continue to contribute their expertise and knowledge.

Leigh McMillan attended the University of Washington from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Leigh then pursued further education at the Washington State University Extension, where they obtained a Certificate in Enology.
