Ruairi McGuinness

Ruairi McGuinness has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ruairi currently serves as the Lead Product Manager at Whitespectre, where they shape the strategic direction and product vision, mentors junior team members, and contributes to product improvement. Prior to this, they were a Senior Product Manager at Whitespectre.

Ruairi also has experience in the music industry, having worked as a Creative Director at Sun Harmonics Records, where they facilitated artist development, product launching, worldwide distribution, and promotion. Additionally, they founded and served as the Managing Director of Coolaboola Limited, a nationally acclaimed consumer-facing enterprise, where they owned the product strategy and implemented financial management and cost control measures across multiple sites.

Their previous roles also include Senior Product Manager at hedgehog lab, where they defined and managed multiple products, and Managing Director of Olivia's, where they introduced Lean Startup methodology.

Ruairi's early career involved roles such as Digital Production Manager at Thomson Multimedia, Director of Squid Digital Audio specializing in digital audio technology consulting and post-production for TV, film, and multimedia, and part-time Lecturer at Newcastle College.

Throughout their career, Ruairi has demonstrated a passion for delivering exceptional products, driving business improvement, and exceeding customer expectations in their respective roles.

Ruairi McGuinness attended Newcastle College from 1992 to 1995 and obtained an HND degree in Music Technology. Ruairi later enrolled at the University of Limerick in 2003 for a brief period, where they pursued Applied Project Management.
