Position: Manufacturing Planner

Reports to: Plant Manager
WhiteWater is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our manufacturing team at our Annacis Island plant! Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for proactively maintaining and continuously improving the planning processes while ensuring all materials are on hand to meet production needs. This position is responsible for complete and accurate communication to all levels across supply chain and operations, generating and maintaining a Production Plan for the business, and reviewing the production adherence to Production Plan and feedback on any issues to the leadership team.
YOUR ROLE:
Develop and manage our Master Production Schedule for all designated products and projects in collaboration with the Corporate Planning Manager.
Collaborate and service internal customers including Project Managers, Supply Chain, Performance Services & Customer Service.
Provide confirmed delivery dates for any Work Orders, Sales Orders and Item Requirements.
Lead daily planning meetings with Production & Shipping supervisors.
Responsible for production schedules to meet on-time delivery dates, assess any potential delays and communicate the risks to the rest of the organization.
Manage with accuracy the Production schedule.
Confirm material availability for current manufacturing requirements.
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delays.
Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
Manage deadlines based on project expectations.
Coordinate short-term forecasting information and provide structured plans to implement them into Production, including capacity scheduling, material needs, ERP accuracy and production constraints.
Develop a capacity plan to identify time periods when capacity would impact production’s ability to meet demand.
YOU BRING:
10+ years of experience as a Scheduler/Planner/Production Coordinator.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Exceptional skills in scheduling tools such as Excel, MS project, PowerBi.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Excellent agent of change.
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required,
Project management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous experience with D365 can be an asset.
