Stephen Byrne

Stephen Byrne, P.E., is a Project Engineer specializing in bridge engineering at Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP since June 2015. Stephen has held multiple roles including Design Engineer and Engineer within the same department. Previous experience includes serving as an ITS Computer Lab Consultant at Penn State University from January 2013 to December 2014 and two engineering internships at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation during the summers of 2013 and 2014, focusing on construction inspection for roadway and bridge projects. Stephen also worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Penn State University in the summer of 2012. Currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a structural focus at The Johns Hopkins University, expected to graduate in 2027, Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University, completed in 2015.
