Nick Palmer

Nick Palmer, PE, is an experienced bridge project engineer currently employed at Horner & Shifrin, Inc. since February 2021. Prior to this role, Nick held positions as a Senior Bridge Design Engineer at Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction from February 2019 to February 2021, and as a Bridge Engineer at Patrick Engineering from April 2018 to February 2019. Nick's earlier experience includes roles as a Structural Engineer at Bowman, Barrett & Associates and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). Nick began professional career as a Civil Engineer with ESCA Consultants and gained initial experience as an Engineering Technician I with the Illinois Department of Transportation. Nick holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
