Jona Tanguay, MS, PA-C, AAHIVS, CAQ-Psych, serves as a POWER Team Member focused on Contingency Management & Stimulants at the Addiction Technology Transfer Center Network Coordinating Office since April 2025. Currently, Jona holds the position of Vice President of Medical Services & Gender-Affirming Care at Amida Care, responsible for overseeing medical services, the HIV Prevention Team, and transgender health programs. Jona has also contributed as a Telehealth Clinician and Medical Program Lead in substance use disorders at Whitman-Walker since June 2021, providing comprehensive care and leading quality improvement initiatives. As President of GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ+ Equality, Jona shapes organizational strategy and supports educational initiatives for health equity. Additionally, Jona participates as a Clinical Instructor at Yale University School of Medicine and has held roles in various health organizations, focusing on HIV, transgender health, and substance use treatment, while advocating for marginalized communities through education and direct care.
