Krisztina Szabo

Krisztina Szabo serves as the Deputy Director of Legal Services at Whitman-Walker since October 2022, previously working as Assistant General Counsel at the DC Department of Health from July 2021 to September 2022. With extensive experience in healthcare and immigrant legal issues, Krisztina has represented clients in various legal matters, including health insurance access, employment discrimination, and immigration relief. Key roles include Supervising Attorney at Whitman-Walker Health, where advocacy focused on transgender rights and public benefits, and interim positions at Ayuda and the National Immigrant Women Advocacy Project. Krisztina holds a J.D. from Charleston School of Law and a Master's degree in Immigration Law and Policy from American University Washington College of Law.
