Matt R. Salmon

Matt R. Salmon, DO, MS, serves as the Manager of Psychiatry at Whitman-Walker Health since October 2019. As an author, Matt is set to release "Pride & Prejudice: Healing Division in the Modern Family" in Spring 2024. Additionally, Matt co-hosts the podcast "The MindfulMess" with Gene Sun, where the duo explores personal growth and diverse perspectives. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Fellow and CAP Fellow at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, and Psychiatry Resident at Maricopa Integrated Health System. Matt's academic background includes a Master of Science in Health and the Public Interest from Georgetown University, a Doctor of Osteopathy from Midwestern University, and a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University.
