Adelle Bortz

Adelle Bortz is a seasoned professional in the art and auction industry, currently serving as the Manager of Individual Giving at the Whitney Museum of American Art since October 2022. Previously, Bortz held the position of Senior Coordinator for Private Sales at Sotheby's, where management of 61 private sales totaling $25 million was accomplished, alongside organizing private exhibitions and overseeing consignment processes. Earlier roles include Gallery Assistant at Cavalier Galleries, Inc. and internships at notable institutions such as Phillips and Lillian Nassau LLC, where skills in client relations, inventory management, and art research were honed.
