Andrea Zlotowitz

Andrea Zlotowitz currently serves as the Associate Registrar for the Permanent Collection at the Whitney Museum of American Art, a position held since October 2022. Prior roles include Collections Manager & Registrar at Magazzino Italian Art and Inventory Manager and Registrar at Charles Moffett Gallery. Additionally, Andrea has experience as an Adjunct Instructor at Montclair State University, teaching Visual Culture to undergraduate students. Andrea has held various positions in the art sector, including Exhibition Manager at the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers and Registrar at Sotheby's, where responsibilities included coordinating cataloguing, exhibition setup, and managing property handlers. Andrea's educational background comprises a Certification in Appraiser Generalist from the Appraisers Association of America, a Master of Arts in Critical Theory and the Arts from the School of Visual Arts, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Fine Arts and Art History from the University at Buffalo.
