Ifath Casillas

Ifath Casillas is a Management Analyst at Whittier City Hall since November 2019, bringing extensive experience in research and education. Previously, Ifath served as a Research Assistant for the Political Psychology Research Group at Stanford University, where collaboration with peers and a Ph.D. was key. Ifath was also President of the 6th Man Committee, advising the Stanford Athletic Department and promoting Stanford Men’s Basketball. In additional academic roles, Ifath worked as a Teaching Fellow in the Psychology Department, designed lesson plans, and managed research projects. Experience includes early childhood education as a Student Teacher Assistant at Bing Nursery and as an Instructor at ThinkMath Co, teaching basic mathematics. Ifath holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stanford University and is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at California State University, Long Beach.
