Janice Mendez

Adjunct Professor at Whittier College

Janice Mendez, M.Ed, currently serves as the Associate Director of Curriculum Development and Online Learning at Ben Hudnall Memorial Trust since May 2023. Janice has held the position of Adjunct Professor at both Whittier College and Mt. San Antonio College since January 2020 and February 2013, respectively. Prior to this, Janice was the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at St. Lucy's Priory High School from July 2021 to May 2023. Janice also served as an Elementary School Principal for the Department of Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles from June 2016 to July 2021 and taught at various schools within the Archdiocese from August 2007 to July 2021. Janice holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Loyola Marymount University, a degree in Child Development from Whittier College, and a Secondary Credential in English Language and Literature/Letters from California State University, Los Angeles.
