Marla Metz has extensive work experience in various industries. Marla currently serves as the Head of Product Strategy & Innovation at Who Gives A Crap, a fast-growing eCommerce business that specializes in sustainable toilet paper and donates a portion of its profits to charity. Prior to this, Marla worked as a Director of Innovation Lead at Kellogg Company, a Principal at Snapdragon Consulting, LLC, and the Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer at First Start Holdings Inc. Marla also held roles at Plum Organics, where they served as the Director of Innovation and Senior Product Innovation Manager. Before their career in the private sector, Marla gained valuable experience as an Operations Officer in the US Navy. Their roles in the Navy included managing budgets and projects and executing complex naval missions. Overall, Marla Metz has a diverse background in product innovation, strategy, and leadership.
Marla Metz completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University in 2005. Marla later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard Business School, completing it between 2011 and 2013.
