Patrick Carey

Patrick Carey serves as a Senior Attorney at Whole Earth Brands since March 2022. With extensive legal experience, Patrick previously held multiple positions at DTE Energy, including Executive Director, Associate General Counsel, and Vice President of Corporate Services and General Counsel. Prior roles also include General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Hayes Lemmerz International, and Associate Attorney at Timmis & Inman LP and Ufer, Spaniola, Fallucca & Cheli. Patrick’s legal career began at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, where advancement to Non-Equity Partner in the Corporate Department occurred. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and an A.B. in Politics from Princeton University.
