Diane Applebaum is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and healthcare administration. Currently serving as RN Clinical Projects at Whole Family Health Center since November 2022, Diane previously held the position of Facility Administrator at DaVita Kidney Care from November 2018 to July 2022. Prior roles include Assistant Vice President Nursing at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, Administrative Director Patient Care Services at Hunterdon Medical Center, and Nurse Manager at Kindred Hospital New Jersey - Rahway. Diane also has experience in academia as an Adjunct Professor at Kean University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing, Nursing Administration from Kean University, a Doctor of Public Health in Environmental/Occupational Health, and a Master of Public Health in Environmental/Occupational Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Whole Family Health Center (WFHC) is a non-profit community healthcare organization serving the Treasure Coast for over 25 years. WFHC offers an integrated approach to healthcare providing access to Adult & Pediatric Primary Care, Behavioral Health, and a Pharmacy with delivery services, all under one roof. WFHC strives to be a healthcare home for all members of the community, whether they are full or part-time residents. WFHC began in Fort Pierce as the ‘AIDS Research and Treatment Center of the Treasure Coast’ (ARTCTC), founded by Dr. Gerald Pierone, an Infectious Disease Specialist. Dr. Pierone serves as our Chief Medical Officer, overseeing all clinical initiatives and directing our infectious disease program, including our COVID-19 response. Today, WFHC remains the leader on the Treasure Coast for the care and treatment of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and STIs.
