Darin Matuzic

Darin Matuzic is the current Head of Talent at Wholesail. Prior to this, Darin worked as a Manager, Talent Acquisition at Flock Freight from August 2020 to April 2022. Darin was responsible for building a premier talent acquisition function from the ground up, and hired 440 new Flockers in a year and a half. Prior to Flock Freight, Darin worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Uber from March 2019 to May 2020, where they lead R&D recruiting for JUMP (now lime), Uber Works, and Uber Transit within Uber’s Emerging Technologies group. Darin also has experience working as a Global Talent Acquisition at Spire from January 2015 to June 2016, where they grew the company from 41-115 employees globally as the first recruiter on staff. Darin has also worked as a Lead Technical Recruiter at Riviera Partners from February 2012 to January 2015, and as a Financial Advisor at John Stokes Financial from January 2010 to February 2012.

Darin Matuzic received a Bachelors in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine.

They are on a team with Xin Qi - Head of Engineering, Sam Lulla - Head of Product Marketing, and Corey Reese - Co-Founder & COO. Their manager is Eli Chait, Co-Founder & CEO.
