Jordyn York

Jordyn York has over seven years of experience in the retail industry. Jordyn began their career in 2014 as a Merchandising Intern at HSN, where they curated launch recommendations, processed promotions, and pulled inventory reports. Jordyn then moved to Sears Holdings Corporation as an Assistant Buyer in 2016, where they worked with a buying team to develop footwear for private label brands and determined and executed marketing and pricing strategy. In the same year, they joined Groupon as an Associate Buyer, where they managed a $20M business by sourcing and solidifying top-tier brands, leading negotiations with key vendor partners, and identifying gaps to grow and maintain a balanced assortment. In 2018, Jordyn moved to Ashley Furniture Industries as an Associate Category Manager, where they grew the Outdoor category 177% YoY YTD with exposure tactics, SEO insights, and strong promotional messaging methods. Currently, they are the Director of Project Management and Project Manager at Wholesome Goods.

Jordyn York obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Retail Merchandising and Product Development from Florida State University in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Global Merchandising and Product Development from Florida State University in 2014. In December 2021, they became an Asana Ambassador, and in October 2022, they received a Google Project Management: Specialization from Coursera.
