Gabriela Yánez

Gabriela Yánez has been working in the industry since 2018. Gabriela began their career at Fine Point Films Ltd as a Production Researcher and Archive Researcher. In 2021, they joined Petrus Communications as an Event Coordinator for The Global Learning Expedition 2021. Gabriela also worked as a Graphic Designer at The George the same year. Currently, they are the Lead Graphic Designer at WYL (WhoseYourLandlord). In their role at Petrus Communications, Gabriela was responsible for making sure the 16 students under their track had access to all platforms, providing logistics support, content support, and team support. At Fine Point Films Ltd, their roles included researching, transcribing, and translating archive footage for the documentary 'Bojayá: Caught in the Crossfire', as well as managing the cost estimate and being in contact with the owners of the archive footage material.

Gabriela Yánez attended Queen's University Belfast from 2017 to 2020, where they earned a degree in film production and studies with a focus in cinematography and film/video production.
